The SLSA Board is currently concentrating on expanding the fund for conference bursaries for ECRs, PGRs, precariously employed researchers and those lacking institutional support to attend our Annual Conference Please use the form below to make a one-off or regular donation. ​If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also make a Gift Aid declaration at the same time. This enables the SLSA, as a charity, to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give.​

93 bursaries helped PGRs, ECRs, precariously employed scholars, and those without institutional support attend our Annual Conference in Liverpool. 

£116,000 FOR SEMINAR 

FUNDING

since 2007

Since the scheme was launched in 2007 we have funded 67 events organised by 101 scholars amounting to just over £116,000.

16 PROJECTS FOR POSITIVE IMPACT 

since 2022

Since the scheme was launched in 2022, we have supported 16 impact projects carried out by 18 researchers, amounting to just over £18,000.

Every year since 2006, we have organised a free PGR conference
