SLSA BLOG: CALL FOR GUEST EDITORS

We are now looking for guest editors for 2026–27. If you have a topic that you would like to develop as a blog series, please get in touch!

About the SLSA Guest Blog Series

Guest series can be edited by a single editor or a group of editors and tend to feature blogs by different authors, each addressing a different aspect of the shared topic.

Series are published weekly or every other week depending on availability of publication slots and guest editor preferences. They can be scheduled to run at any time in the year, so series can be scheduled to coincide with a forthcoming event, the passage of legislation or in response to a particular case.

Each blog series can be as long or as short as the Guest Editor prefers; most series run for 6-12 blogs. Blogs should follow our normal formatting rules, which are available on the SLSA website.

 

If you would like to run a guest series over the coming year, please contact blogeditors@slsa.ac.uk  by 31 July 2026 with the following info:

• Your name and affiliation.

• The title and topic of the guest series.

• A short abstract with info about the topic, proposed number of blogs, any potential or confirmed author details and any other relevant info.

• Your preferred starting date or starting month (between Sept 26 and June 27) for your first blog in the series.
