SLSA membership fees
Membership fees are due on 1 July each year.
The membership fees for the 2011–2012 membership year are £40 for full UK and overseas membership and £20 for students. The first year of student membership is free.
Increase in fees
If you are an existing member and wish to change your standing order to reflect the recent increase in membership fees, please instruct your bank directly. If you wish to inform your bank in writing, you can use the following standard form:

Methods of payment
The SLSA preferred method of payment is by standing order, the details for which are on the membership application form above. You will need a sterling bank account to set up a standing order.
If you are not able to pay by standing order, the following payment options are available:
- Cheque (sterling) (payable to ‘Socio-Legal Studies Association’)
- International cheque made out in sterling
- International bank draft (made out for membership fee plus £2 to cover incurred costs i.e. for £42 or £22)

- Electronic bank transfer with identifiable reference (e.g. your name) – SLSA account details can be found here
